With over 32 years of real estate and mortgage experience, Mr. Thayer is responsible for the oversight of due diligence regarding the acquisition of non-performing/sub-performing assets implementing loss mitigation strategies in order to substantially alleviate portfolio risk. Mr. Thayer is also responsible for the oversight of internal/external mortgage servicing and investor relations.

Mr. Thayer started his career in the mortgage industry in 1979 as a real estate broker. In a 6 year period, he listed and sold over 1,000 homes throughout Orange and Los Angeles counties. He opened a mortgage company in 1986 and merged it with Stone American Financial in 1987, where he served as their vice president. In 1994, he co-founded Residential First Mortgage, where he oversees the mortgage lending operation. He also owns and manages a private money lending and servicing company, Ken Thayer Trust Deed Servicing.
